2002 Danny Lynn Wilson Acoustic Trio bootleg live from Kleinhans Music Hall: Live acoustic trio. Classical guitar, upright bass, kick drum and snare.

2000 Time Will Tell: (Redheaded Stepchild) acoustic guitar on "North Country Wind and On the Wire." Wilson toured for two years with the live band.

1998 Primal Blues: Acoustic based blues. Review by Jim Santella, (reporter for The Buffalo News and Radio personality), called Wilson, "Buffalo's Blues treasure" and referred to his live performances as, "the truth squared."

                            local reviews and airplay on Kim Buckner's blues show at WBFO FM.

Biography

The Danny Lynn Wilson Band's last two CD's Look'n Up and Primal Blue has received airplay from Austin?s KGSR FM, Toronto Canada?s CKLN FM and CJRT FM, and Sienna Italy?s 91.250 FM. The Buffalo based band receives local coverage from radio stations WBFO FM and WBNY FM. Regional airplay includes Rochester, Syracuse, and Erie PA.

The Band swept the Buffalo Music Awards in 1996 with Best Blues Band (?96-?98), Best Blues Guitarist (?96) and Best Blues Vocalist (?96, ?97, ?99). The Artvoice Magazine Original Music Awards paid a similar tribute to the band with seven nominations and awarded the band with Best Original Guitarist.

The Danny Lynn Wilson Band has been selected to play numerous national showcases including Crossroads in Memphis, Cutting Edge in New Orleans, Undercurrents in Cleveland, North by Northeast in Toronto, and CMJ in New York City.

While in Memphis playing at B.B. King?s nightclub on Beale Street the band caught the attention of Leo "Tater Red" Allred who has a syndicated blues show which airs in eight states. Since that time the band has been on Tater Red?s blues spotlight and is receiving airplay on the Tater Red Blues Show.

The Danny Lynn Wilson Band has performed at such venues as the New York State Blues Festival as well as other regional musical festivals throughout New York and northeastern United States. The group has performed more than two hundred performances every year between 1993 and 2000.

Live performing is a passion for Danny Lynn Wilson. When not performing with the band, this singer songwriter is playing colleges and coffeehouses from Buffalo to Baton Rouge. As a solo performer he has opened for such acts as Rusted Root and NRBQ.
